Classical Pianist Beatrice Söderberg has performed in the United States, South America, and Europe. She has earned recognition in numerous international competitions, including prizes from the American Protégé International Piano Competition, the Farida Dina Primer Concurso de Piano Iberoamericano (Dominican Republic), and the Burgos International Music Festival Competition (Spain).
In the 2024-2025 season, Ms. Söderberg won the Concerto Competition at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the UTEP Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Bohuslav Rattay. Ms. Söderberg also received First Prize at the 2025 Borderland Chopin Piano Competition, where her interpretations were praised as “impressive” and “very powerful,” and where she was granted a full scholarship to attend the Gijón International Piano Festival in Spain for Summer 2025.
She holds an undergraduate degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music at CUNY Queens College, where she studied with Professor Ubaldo diaz-acosta. She also holds a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Music in piano Performance at UTEP, studying under Dr. Dena Kay Jones. She is a recipient of the institution’s Phoebe & Reuben Mutnick Scholarship, and was awarded a Teaching Assistantship for the 2025-2026 academic year.
While actively performing, Ms. Söderberg is also working on her debut recording project, The Four Chopin Ballades, expected for release in 2026.
